Air Dryer: Service and Repair

NOTE: Disconnect battery ground cable before raising vehicle.

1. Remove compressor assembly. Service and Repair
2. Remove air dryer mounting screw.

3. Rotate air dryer assembly 90° to release retaining tangs from exhaust solenoid housing, then remove air dryer assembly.
4. Reverse procedure to install, noting the following:
a. Inspect O-ring for damage and location on air dryer.
b. Insert and index air dryer locking tangs into exhaust solenoid outlet.
c. Rotate air dryer assembly to lock into position.
