NOTE: The Acustar steering column is designed to be serviced as an assembly, less wiring, switches, shrouds & steering wheel. Also most steering column components can be serviced without removing the column from the vehicle. The only other serviceable components are as follows:

1. On models with column shift, the gear shift lever assembly. Use a drift and a suitable size socket to drive out lever retaining pin.
2. The PRNDL driver can be removed by drilling out rivets.
CAUTION: Use care to prevent bending when installing new driver and use only correct replacement rivets.

NOTE: Refer to models with "Standard Steering Column" for removal and installation of steering column assembly.
