Seat Belt: Service and Repair

Front Passive Restraint System:

FRONT SEAT BELTS
1. Install B-pillar mounted retractor (1 bolt).
2. Torque bolt to 40 Nm (350 in. lbs.).
3. Attach tension reliever (2 screws).

CAUTION: Left side belt should be routed outboard of tension reliever.

4. Route belt through lower B-pillar trim and install lower B-pillar trim panel.
5. Install upper B-pillar trim panel.
6. Attach turning loop to upper B-pillar (1 bolt).
7. Install unibelt anchor (1 bolt).
8. For removal, reverse above procedure.

REAR SEAT BELTS
1. Install seat belt to rear floor pan.
2. Install seat belt bolt and torque to 40 Nm (350 in. lbs.).
3. Install rear cushion.
4. For removal, reverse above procedure.
