Throttle Body Replacement

REMOVAL
1. Disconnect negative battery cable, and remove air cleaner hose and nut holding air cleaner to bracket. Disconnect and remove throttle cable, and cruise control cable (if equipped).
2. Disconnect Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) motor, and Throttle Position Sensor (TPS) electrical connectors. Disconnect vacuum hoses from throttle body.
3. Remove throttle body to intake manifold mounting nuts. Remove throttle body and gasket.
INSTALLATION
1. Install throttle body with new gasket and torque mounting nuts to 20 Nm (175 lb-in).
2. Install throttle body vacuum hoses, TPS connector, and AIS motor connector. Install throttle cable and cruise control cable (if equipped).
3. Install air cleaner hose and bracket nut and tighten nut. Connect negative battery cable and check operation.
