Test 1 - Spark at Coil

Spark Tester:

1. Each of the three independent coils in the package must be checked individually.
2. Remove the spark plug wire from the # 2 spark plug and insert a good spark plug tester into the boot of the wire and clamp to a good ground.
3. Crank the engine and look for a spark at the spark plug.
4. Repeat the test on the # 4 and # 6 spark plug wires.
^ If there is no spark during all three cylinder tests, refer to TEST 3 - FAILURE TO START TEST.
^ If one or more tests indicate irregular, weak, or no spark, refer to TEST 2 - COIL TEST.
