The ambient sensor switch is located at the grill inlet in front of the condenser and is electrically in series with the high pressure cut-out switch and the low pressure cut-out switch.
OPERATION
It is an on-off, differential switch that turns the compressor on and off depending on the ambient temperature in the grill area. The switch is a sealed, specially calibrated unit, if found defective it must be replaced.
