REVISED ENGINE OIL FIIIL SPECIFICATION


Effective with the 1990 model year, the engine oil fill specification on 2.2L/2.5L/3.0L/3.3L and 3.9L engines, except AD and AB body trucks and BB Monaco, has been increased. The new specification is 4.5 quarts (4.25 liters) whenever the oil filter is changed as indicated on the chart below.

This Technical Service Bulletin should be reviewed by all dealer service personnel.

Please display this information in an area where all affected personnel are exposed to and become familiar with the revised specification.

Please make reference to this TSB 09-18-89 in the Lubrication and Maintenance section in the appropriate Service Manuals under the Fluid Capacities Chart.
