Cruise Control Servo: Service and Repair

1. Remove throttle cable attaching nuts and mounting bracket to servo.
2. Remove two screws attaching servo mounting bracket to battery tray, and servo mounting bracket.
3. Disconnect vacuum hoses and electrical connectors, then speedometer cable from servo.
4. Pull servo away from cable to expose cable retaining clip, and remove clip attaching cable to servo.
5. To install, position throttle in full open position, align hole in throttle cable with hole in servo pin and install retaining clip.
6. Connect vacuum hose to servo, speedometer cable and electrical connectors.
7. Place mounting bracket in position, and install two screws attaching bracket to battery tray. Torque to 105 in. lbs.
8. Install servo studs through holes in throttle cable and mounting bracket. Install nuts and torque to 80 in. lbs.
