Late Production
1. De-pressurize hydraulic accumulator, refer to Brakes and Traction Control/Brakes/Antilock Brake System/Accumulator/Service and Repair Failure to de-pressurize the hydraulic accumulator, may result in personal injury, or damage to painted surfaces.2. Remove fresh air intake ducts.
3. Disconnect all electrical connectors from hydraulic assembly.
4. Remove as much fluid as possible from the reservoir on hydraulic assembly.
5. Remove high pressure hose fitting from assembly.
6. Disconnect pump return hose from filter nipple, then cap spigot on filter.
7. Disconnect all brake tubes from hydraulic assembly.
8. Working under the instrument panel, position a small screwdriver between center tang on retainer clip and pin in brake pedal. Rotate screwdriver enough to allow retainer clip center tang to pass over end of brake pedal pin.
9. Remove four hydraulic assembly mounting nuts, then the hydraulic assembly from vehicle.
10. Reverse procedure to install.
