REMOVAL

1. Raise and properly support vehicle.
2. Remove rear wheel and tire assembly, and ensure parking brake is released.
3. Pump brake pedal, then manually pull caliper assembly toward outside of vehicle so that piston will retract.
4. Drive brake pad retainer pin out of caliper.
5. Remove caliper mounting bolts, then the caliper by lifting upward and away from disc. Support caliper with suitable wire. Do not allow caliper to hang by brake hose.
6. Remove brake pads and anti-rattle clip.

INSTALLATION

1. Lubricate adapter ways with suitable grease.

2. Install inboard pad first, then the outboard pad on adapter assembly.
3. Place caliper with lower end inserted first over disc and pads onto adapter. Do not install mounting bolts at this time.

4. Insert anti-rattle clip through opening in caliper as shown. Place lower portion of clip in position first, then release. Ensure clip falls into correct position.
5. Install brake pad retainer pin through caliper and pads. Drive into position using hammer and suitable drift.

6. Push down on upper portion of caliper to load anti-rattle clip.
7. Install upper mounting bolt first, then the lower bolt. Torque bolts to specifications.
8. Install wheel and tire assembly, then lower vehicle.
