Sunroof Motor And Drive Gear:

MOTOR AND DRIVE GEARS
Removal
1. Position sunroof to maximum vent position.
2. Remove headliner.
3. Remove three bolts securing motor to motor bracket.
4. Separate motor wire plug.
5. Pull motor and drive gear down to disengage from drive cables.

Installation
1. Check that sunroof is at maximum vent position by manually pushing mechanism forward on both sides. (This procedure aligns the drive cables).
2. Position motor upward so that drive gear engages between cables.
3. Complete installation of motor and drive gear the reverse of removal procedures.
4. Torque bolts to 5 Nm.
