The following is the proper procedure for power steering pressure hose replacement on the subject model vehicles.


PARTS REQUIRED

1 Hose Assembly PN 4470767


REPAIR PROCEDURE

1. Remove power steering pressure hose.

2. Remove the two pump-to-pivot bracket mounting bolts

3. Remove the pressure hose reinforcement bracket and discard.

4. Reinstall the pump-to-pivot bracket mounting bolts and torque to 21 ft.lbs.
5. Install power steering hose (P/N 4470767). Clock the hose ferrule against the power steering pump mounting bracket and torque the fitting to 23 ft.lbs (Figure 1).
6. Fill the system with Mopar power steering fluid (PN 4318055 or equivalent). Bleed the system and check for leaks.
