Mopar Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer (Pn 4467708)

Mopar Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer is a clear flowable sealant for repair of water and air leaks. This material will flow into leaks like water, but dries to a tough waterproof silicone seal. It forms a flexible, tough, clear seal resistant to extreme temperatures, vibration, shock, and most chemicals.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1. Locate source of the leak. Refer to Windnoise and Waterleaks Diagnosis Booklet (Publication #81-699-9008) for diagnostic procedures.

2. Clean and dry the area to be sealed.

3. Apply Mopar Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer into leak source. Remove excess sealant.

4. The sealer cures in about one hour. High humidity will speed the cure. Care should be taken not to apply excess material as it may flow into unwanted areas. Application of a second dressing is suggested for large gaps.

5. Test for leaks after the sealer has cured for about one hour. Reapply if necessary. The sealer will fully cure in about 24 hours.

**Mopar Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer is NOT to be used in place of Urethane adhesive which is required for windshield and glass installation. It is to be used as a leak sealant only.

DO NOT USE Mopar Silicone Windshield and Glass Sealer for gasketing of engine, transmission, and rear axle components. It is not intended nor will it work for this use.
