NS-7D Ignition System Primary Circuit

Complete No Start Test 7, Step C, before proceeding.

1. With ignition coil negative wire disconnected, turn ignition switch to Off position.
2. Disconnect 14-way electrical connector from SMEC, then connect an ohmmeter between terminal No. 12 of connector and ground.
3. If no continuity is shown, replace SMEC.
4. If continuity is shown, locate and repair short to ground in wire of terminal No. 12.
