NS-7C Ignition Coil Primary Windings

Complete No Start Test 7, Step A, before proceeding.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine harness connector, turn ignition switch to Off position.
2. Disconnect wire from negative side of ignition coil, then connect a voltmeter between negative terminal of ignition coil and ground.
3. Place system in ATM Test Mode Code 01.
4. If voltmeter reads above 10 volts, proceed to Test 7 step D.
5. If voltmeter reads between 0 and 2 volts, replace ignition coil.
