Automatic Idle Speed (AIS) Motor

1987 Models W/Turbo II & All 1988-89 Models

1. Disconnect battery ground cable.
2. Disconnect AIS motor electrical connector.
3. Remove AIS motor to throttle body attaching screws, then the AIS motor from throttle body. Ensure O-ring in on AIS motor during removal.
4. Reverse procedure to install. If pintle measures more than 1 inch to 1-1/4 inches it must be retracted by using ATM test code 03.
