The 1988 Front Wheel Drive Car Electrical Fuel and Emissions Service Manual, publication #81-270-8003, contains an error in the compact disc player diagnostic chart. Pin 5, not pin 8, of the interface wire should be checked for voltage as part of the diagnosis.
