DR-8C Check AIS Motor Control Wires For A Short

Complete Driveability Test 8, Step B before proceeding.

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect SMEC 60-way electrical connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between terminal Nos. 17 and 18, then 19 and 20 of 60-way connector and notes readings.
3. If ohmmeter is not showing continuity, replace AIS motor.
4. If ohmmeter is showing zero resistance, check AIS motor wiring for short circuit.
