DR-7D Check 5 Volt Supply to Throttle Position Sensor

Complete Driveability Test 7, Step B before proceeding.

1. With ignition switch in Run position and throttle position sensor connector disconnected, connect a digital voltmeter to violet/white wire of throttle position sensor connector and ground.
2. If voltmeter reads at least 4 volts, replace throttle position sensor.
3. If voltmeter reads zero volts, locate and repair open circuit in violet/white wire to splice.
