DR-6C Charge Temp Sensor Wires to SMEC For an Open

Complete Driveability Test 6, Step B before proceeding.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, charge temperature sensor connector disconnected and system in Sensor Test Mode 03, connect jumper wire between black/red wire of charge temperature sensor connector and negative battery post.
2. If display reads zero volts, locate and repair open circuit in black/light blue wire of charge temperature sensor connector to wiring harness splice.
3. If display reads 5 volts, locate and repair open circuit in black/red wire of charge temperature sensor connector to SMEC.
