DR-6A Fault Code 23 Charge Temperature Sensor

Complete Driveability Test 1, Step A before proceeding.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, disconnect charge temperature sensor connector.
2. Place system in Sensor Test Mode 03.
3. If display reads 5 volts, proceed to Test 6 step B.
4. If display on read-out tool reads zero volts or reads zero volts then increases, replace SMEC.
CAUTION: Before replacing the SMEC, make sure the K13 wire of cavity No. 21 of the 60-way connector is not shorted to ground.
