DR-5C Coolant Sensor Wires to SMEC For Open Circuit

Complete Driveability Test 5, Step B before proceeding.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, coolant sensor connector disconnected and system in Sensor Test Mode 04, connect a jumper wire between tan/white wire terminal of coolant sensor harness connector and ground.
2. If display reads 260°, locate and repair open circuit in black/light blue wire of coolant sensor harness connector to engine harness splice.
3. If display reads 00°, locate and repair open circuit in tan/white wire of coolant sensor harness connector to SMEC.
