DR-1H Checking 5 Volt Supply to MAP Sensor

Complete Driveability Test 1, Step D before proceeding.

1. With ignition switch in Run position, disconnect MAP sensor electrical connector.
2. Connect a digital voltmeter between violet/white wire terminal of MAP sensor electrical connector and ground.
3. If voltmeter reading is at least 4 volts, replace MAP sensor.
NOTE: Before replacing the MAP sensor, check the terminals in the harness connector to make sure they are not defective causing a poor connection.
4. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, check wiring from violet/white wire terminal for an open circuit.
