DR-19 Checking Secondary Ignition System

Complete Driveability Test 18, Step E or G before proceeding.

This test must be performed with engine warm.

1. Connect suitable engine analyzer to engine, then start engine and let speed stabilize for 2 minutes.
2. Test secondary ignition according to equipment manufacturers instructions. Coil output should be at least 25,000 volts.
3. If secondary ignition system is satisfactory, proceed to Test 20.
4. If secondary ignition system is not satisfactory, repair as required.
