DR-18B Sensor Calibrations-Throttle Position Sensor

Complete Driveability Test 18, Step A before proceeding.

This test must be performed with engine warm.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector and engine warm and Off, place system in Sensor Test Mode 05.
2. If display shows .5---1.5 volts with throttle fully closed, un-interrupted change of voltage as throttle is opening and at least 3.5 volts when throttle is fully wide open, proceed to Test 18 step C.
3. If voltage is not as specified above, replace throttle position sensor.
