DR-16C Checking Throttle Position Sensor

Complete Driveability Test 16, Step B before proceeding.

This test must be performed with engine cold.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector and engine started, place system into Engine Running Test Mode 65.
2. Slowly increase engine speed to 2,000 RPM.
3. If voltage displayed on read-out tool increases as engine speed increases, proceed to Test 16 step D.
4. If voltage displayed on read-out tool does not increase as engine speed increases, replace throttle position sensor.
