DR-15A Fault Code 45 Overboost Shutoff

Complete Driveability Test 1, Step A before proceeding.

1. Disconnect vacuum line from wastegate diaphragm, then connect a suitable vacuum gauge to vacuum line.
2. Disconnect vacuum line connector from side of wastegate solenoid and connect an auxiliary vacuum supply.
3. Apply 15 inches of vacuum to solenoid, then release vacuum.
4. If vacuum gauge indicates within 1 inches of applied vacuum and immediately drops to zero when released, proceed to Test 15 step B.
5. If vacuum gauge does not indicate as described, locate and repair restriction or leak in vacuum line.
