DR-13B BARO Read Solenoid Control Wire

Complete Driveability Test 13, Step A before proceeding.

1. Turn ignition switch Off, then disconnect SMEC 60-way electrical connector and connect a voltmeter between terminal No. 38 and ground.
2. Turn ignition switch to Run position.
3. If voltmeter reads battery voltage, replace SMEC.
CAUTION: Before replacing the SMEC, check the Y4 terminal in cavity No. 38 of the 60-way connector to make sure it is not damaged causing a poor connection.
4. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, locate and repair open in wire between terminal No. 38 and solenoid assembly.
