DR-12D Wastegate Solenoid Control Circuit

Complete Driveability Test 12, Step C before proceeding.

1. Place ignition switch in Off position.
2. Connect a voltmeter to light green/black wire of wastegate solenoid electrical connector and ground.
3. Disconnect SMEC 60-way electrical connector, then place ignition switch in On position.
4. If voltmeter reads battery voltage, replace SMEC.
NOTE: Before replacing the SMEC make sure the Y6 light green/black wire is not shorted to ground.
5. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, replace solenoid.
