DR-3B Speed Sensor Circuit

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, start engine.
2. Place system in engine running test mode 71.
3. Disconnect speed sensor electrical connector.
4. Connect a jumper wire between logic module white electrical connector terminals Nos. 9 and 25.
5. Make and break connection made with jumper wire.
6. If display on diagnostic read-out tool changes as connection is made and broken, check wiring for an open circuit, to vehicle speed sensor and repair as necessary.
7. If display does not change, replace logic module.

CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminal of cavity No. 9 of the white connector to make sure it is not crushed causing a poor connection.
