DR-1M AIS Motor Signal at Logic Module

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, place system in ATM test mode 03.
2. Set digital voltmeter to AC setting.
3. Disconnect logic module white electrical connector and connect voltmeter between terminal Nos. 16 and 22.
4. If voltmeter reading is cycling between 0 and 6 volts, check for open circuit in wiring between automatic idle speed motor and logic module white electrical connector terminal Nos. 16 and 22.
5. If voltmeter does not cycle, replace logic module.

CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminals in cavities 16 and 22 of the white logic module connector to make sure they are not crushed causing a poor connection.
