DR-17 Heated Air Intake System Engine Warm

1. With engine warm, disconnect air duct from air cleaner.
2. Disconnect vacuum hose from heated air inlet system air temperature sensor.
3. Connect a hand held vacuum pump to air temperature sensor and try to apply vacuum.
4. If vacuum does not hold and heated air door remains open, proceed to Test 18. DR-18A EGR Vacuum From Throttle Body to EGR BP-Valve
5. If vacuum holds, replace air temperature sensor.
6. If heated air door does not open, check for binding and repair or replace as necessary.
