7C Ignition System Primary Circuit

1. Place ignition switch in off position, then disconnect [1][2]power module 10 way electrical connector.
2. Connect an ohmmeter between ignition coil negative terminal and terminal No. 1 of [1][2]power module 10 way electrical connector.
3. If ohmmeter indicated continuity, replace [1][2]power module.

CAUTION: Before replacing the [1][2]power module check the terminal in cavity No. 1 of the 10-way connector to make sure that it is not spread apart causing a poor connection.

4. If ohmmeter does not indicate continuity, check wiring from terminal No. 1 of [1][2]power module 10 terminal connector for an open circuit.
