K-Body 4-Door Wagon (Plymouth Reliant, Dodge Aries Station Wagons and Chrysler Town and Country)CAUTION: THIS PACKAGE IS ONLY FOR DEALER INSTALLATION IN 1982 AND LATER MODELS LISTED ABOVE. DO NOT ATTEMPT INSTALLATION IN ANY OTHER VEHICLE. FOLLOW THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY AND USE ONLY THE SPECIFIED PARTS.
Upper Rear Shoulder Belt Installation
1. Remove the upper quarter trim panel.

2. Locate the raised ring on the back surface of the trim panel in the location of the rearmost "D" pillar (Figure 11).
3. Drill a 1/8" (3.18 mm) pilot hole through the trim panel at this location and then enlarge the pilot hole to 3/4" (19.05 mm).
4. Place reinforcement bracket PN 4440889 in a vise and start screw, PN 9422202, in the small hole. Remove the screw.

5. Insert the reinforcement bracket into the access hole in the "D" pillar between the quarter window and liftgate opening as shown in Figure 10.
6. Hold the bracket in position and drive screw, PN 9422202, through the screw hole in the pillar and into the bracket (Figure 10). Be sure the weld nut of the bracket is aligned with the large hole in the pillar before tightening the screw.
7. Reinstall the trim panel.
8. Install the upper shoulder belt, PN 4476255, using the red colored bolt, PN 6031216 (K-15 is on bolt head). White label on seat belt should face inside of car (Figure 10). Tighten securely to 350 inch pounds torque.
9. Repeat Steps 1 through 8 for the other side.
Lower Rear Shoulder Belt Installation
1. Remove the attaching bolts (one per side) for the lower inner lap seat belts (Figure 10).
NOTE: DO NOT REMOVE OR REARRANGE THE EXISTING SEAT BELTS.
2. Discard the existing bolts and substitute the red colored bolts PN 6031216 in Step 3 (K-15 is on the bolt head).
3. Install lower shoulder belts, PN 4476257, on top of the existing lower inner seat belts and tighten the new bolts to 350 inch pounds torque. The white label on the shoulder belt should face down.
CAUTION: CHECK THAT BOTH THE LAP AND SHOULDER BELTS LATCH AND UNLATCH PROPERLY AND ARE INSTALLED AS SHOWN IN FIGURE 10. MAKE SURE THAT THE SEAT BELTS DO NOT CONTACT ANY SHARP EDGES THAT COULD CUT THE WEBBING.
G-Body 2-Door (Dodge Daytona, Chrysler Laser)

Upper Rear Shoulder Belt Installation
1. Remove the quarter window garnish molding (Figure 14A). (On mid-1987 models and later, the molding and quarter trim panel are one piece and the entire panel must be removed.)
2. On 1984 through early 1987 models, place the template (provided in package) shown in Figure 14A as Item "9" on the garnish molding and mark the attachment hole location. On mid-1987 models, place the template (provided in package) shown in Figure 14B as Item "10" on the quarter trim panel. On later 1987 models, no template is required. The location is identified by a raised ring on the underside of the trim panel (Figure 14B).
3. Drill a 1/8" (3.18 mm) pilot hole at this location. Enlarge the pilot hole in the garnish molding to 3/4" (19.05 mm).
4. Place reinforcement bracket PN 4440891 in a vise and start screw, PN 9422202, in the small hole. Remove the screw.

5. Insert the reinforcement bracket into the access hole in the "C" pillar as shown in Figure 13.
6. Hold bracket in position and drive screw, PN 9422202, through the rear screw hole in the "C" pillar and into the bracket. Be sure weld nut of bracket is aligned with large hole in the "C" pillar before tightening the screw. Reinstall quarter window garnish molding or trim panel.
7. Install the upper shoulder belt, PN 4476254, using the bronze colored bolt PN 6033530 (6033530 is on bolt head) - (Figure 13).
8. As shown in Figure 13, insert bolt through seat belt anchor plate. Install washer, PN 6100129, on the bolt. White label on seat belt should face down.
9. Insert bolt and washer through hole in the trim panel (Figure 13). (Washer must go through the trim and contact the metal panel.) Tighten bolt securely to 350 inch pounds torque.
10. Repeat steps 1 through 9 for the other side.

Lower Rear Shoulder Belt Installation
1. Remove the rear seat cushion to floor attaching bolts and washers (leave the existing lap seat belts attached to the seat) - (Figure 12).
2. Insert the bolt through the anchor plate of the lower shoulder belt, PN 4476257, and then install the existing washer on the bolt (Figure 12). White label on seat belt should face up.
3. Install the bolt through the seat frame and attach to floor (Figure 12). Tighten securely to 350 inch pounds torque. The seat belt anchor plate must point rearward from the bolt and then come out between seat cushion and seat back, outboard of the seat pivot (Figure 12).
4. Repeat Steps 2 and 3 for the other side.
CAUTION: CHECK THAT BOTH THE LAP AND SHOULDER BELTS LATCH AND UNLATCH PROPERLY AND ARE INSTALLED AS SHOWN IN FIGURES 12 AND 13. MAKE SURE THAT THE SEAT BELTS DO NOT CONTACT ANY SHARP EDGES THAT COULD CUT THE WEBBING.
