11A Checking Injector 3 & 4 Control Circuit

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine harness connector.

6-way Injector Connector (Tan):

2. Turn ignition Off, then connect a voltmeter between tan wire of injector 6-way connector and ground.
3. Disconnect electrical connectors from injector Nos. 1 and 2.

Red Logic Module Connector:

4. Disconnect red connector from logic module, then connect one end of a jumper wire to cavity 3 of connector.
5. Press ATM button on read-out tool, then make and break jumper wire connection to ground several times.
6. If voltmeter pulsates as connection is made, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminal in cavity No. 3 of the red connector to make sure it is not crushed causing a poor connection.
7. If voltmeter does not pulsate as connection is made, proceed to Test 11 step B.
