DR-18B Throttle Position Sensor

This test must be performed with engine warm.

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine harness connector and engine warm and Off, place system in Sensor Test Mode 05. Divide reading on display by ten for actual voltage.
2. If display shows .5---1.5 volts with throttle fully closed, uninterrupted change of voltage as throttle is opening and at least three volts when throttle is fully wide open, proceed to Test 18 step C. DR-18C Throttle Position Sensor
3. If voltage is not as specified above, replace throttle position sensor.
