DR-14B Checking Vacuum Supply to Wastegate Solenoid

1. Disconnect vacuum line from top of wastegate solenoid and connect a vacuum gauge to it.
2. Start engine and observe gauge.
3. If gauge indicates manifold vacuum, check wastegate and MAP sensor calibration and correct as necessary. Check MAP sensor calibration using Test 18, Step E. DR-18E Sensor Calibration MAP Sensor
4. If vacuum gauge indicates no vacuum, locate and repair restriction or leak in vacuum line to nipple.
