DR-12A Fault Code 36/36-45 Wastegate Solenoid

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine harness connector.
2. Connect a voltmeter between light green/white wire of dual solenoid 4-way connector and ground.
3. Enter system into ATM Test Mode Code 09.
4. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates within one volt of battery voltage, proceed to Test 12 step B. DR-12B Wastegate Solenoid Control Wire
5. If voltmeter pulsates between zero and five volts, replace solenoid assembly.
6. If voltmeter does not pulsate and indicates zero to one volt, disconnect logic module red connector. If voltage if now within one volt of battery voltage, replace logic module. If not, locate and repair short to ground in light green/white wire.
