Trailing Arm: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support rear of vehicle, then remove rear wheel and tire assemblies.
2. Secure shock assembly to crossmember with wire, then support rear suspension assembly with a suitable jack.
3. Disconnect propeller shaft from torque tube, then remove center exhaust pipe and main muffler.
4. Disconnect parking brake cable from rear disc brake and lower control arm.
5. Disconnect brake hose at rear floor, then remove the shock absorber attaching nuts.
6. Remove crossmember attaching nuts, then the front support attaching nuts and bolts.
7. Slowly lower rear suspension assembly from vehicle.
8. Reverse procedure to install.
