17A Fault Code 42 or 26 & 42 (ASD)

1. Place ignition switch in Off position.
2. Disconnect white electrical connector from logic module.
3. Connect a voltmeter between logic module white electrical connector terminal No. 17 and ground.
4. Place ignition switch in Run position and note voltmeter reading.
5. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace logic module.

CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module, check the terminal in cavity No. 17 of the white connector to make sure it is not crushed causing a poor connection.

6. If voltmeter indicates 0 voltage, proceed to step B.
