DR-15E Alternator Field Circuit to Power Module

1. Place ignition switch in Off position, then disconnect power module 10 way electrical connector.
2. Connect voltmeter between power module 10 way electrical connector terminal No. 8 and ground.
3. Place ignition switch in Run position.
4. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace power module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the power module check the terminal tabs in cavity No. 8 of the 10 way connector to make sure it is not spread apart causing a poor connection.
5. If voltmeter indicates no voltage, check for an open circuit in wiring from power module electrical connector terminal No. 8 to alternator.
