DR-3B Speed Sensor Circuit

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Place system in engine switch test mode.
3. Disconnect speed sensor electrical connector and logic module white and black electrical connectors.
4. Connect a jumper wire between logic module white electrical connector terminal No. 24 and black electrical connector terminal No. 14.
5. Make and break connection made with jumper wire.
6. If display on diagnostic read-out tool changes as connection is made and broken, check wiring to vehicle speed sensor and repair as necessary.
7. If display does not change, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminal of cavity No. 14 of the black connector to make sure it is not crushed causing a poor connection.
