DR-1K Automatic Idle Speed Motor Signal

1. Connect the diagnostic readout box to the engine harness connector in the ATM test mode 03.
2. Connect a digital voltmeter between cavities 16 and 22 of the logic module white connector, in the AC voltage position.
3. If voltmeter is cycling between 0 and 6 volts, repair wire of cavity 16 or 22 for an open circuit to the automatic idle speed motor.
4. If voltmeter does not cycle, replace logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminals in cavities 16 and 22 of the white logic module connector to make sure they are not crushed causing a poor connection.
