DR-1J Automatic Idle Speed Motor Signal

1. Connect the readout box to the engine harness connector in the ATM test mode 03.
2. Connect a digital voltmeter between cavities 18 and 20 of the logic module white connector, with the voltmeter in the AC position.
3. If the voltmeter is cycling between 0 and 6 volts, repair wire of cavity 18 or 20 for an open circuit to the automatic idle speed motor connector.
4. If the voltmeter does not cycle, replace the logic module.
CAUTION: Before replacing the logic module check the terminals in cavities 18 and 20 of the logic module white connector to make sure they are not crushed causing a poor connection.
