DR-1G Auto Idle Speed Motor Operation

1. Connect diagnostic read-out tool to engine test connector.
2. Position read-out tool read/hold switch in Read position.
3. Connect a suitable tachometer to engine.
4. Start engine.
5. Disconnect the coolant sensor.
6. Place diagnostic read-out tool read/hold switch in the Hold position.
7. If engine speed increased to 1500 RPM, proceed to Test 17 if a cold engine operating problem, Test 20 if a warm engine operating problem.
8. If engine speed does not increase, proceed to Test 1 step H.
