DR-14A Fault Codes 46 or 41-46 Alternator Field

1. Disconnect 10 way electrical connector from power module.
2. Connect a voltmeter between power module electrical connector terminal No. 8 and ground.
3. Place ignition switch in the Run position.
4. If voltmeter reading is within 1 volt of battery voltage, proceed to step B.
5. If voltmeter reading is 0 to 1 volt, check alternator field circuit for short circuit to ground.
