DR-10A Fault Code 31 Canister Purge Solenoid Circuit

1. With diagnostic read-out tool connected to engine test connector, connect a voltmeter between pink/white wire of canister purge solenoid connector and ground, then place system in ATM test mode code 07.
2. If voltmeter reading is cycling between 0 and 14 volts, proceed to step B.
3. If voltmeter reading is cycling between 0 and 3 volts, proceed to step C.
4. If voltmeter indicates one volt or less and is not cycling, disconnect logic module black electrical connector and note voltmeter reading. If voltmeter reading is now within 1 volt of battery voltage, replace logic module. If voltmeter reading is not within 1 volt of battery voltage, check pink/white wire for short circuit to ground.
