REMOVAL

Wiper Motor And Linkage:

1. Remove wiper arm assemblies.
2. Remove tie down nuts and washers from left and right pivots.
3. Raise hood.
4. Remove wiper motor plastic cover and washer hose attaching clip.
5. Disconnect wiper motor wiring harness.
6. Remove 3 bolts that fasten motor mounting bracket to body sheet metal.
7. Disengage pivots from cowl top mounting positions.
8. Remove wiper motor, mounting bracket, cranks, pivots and drive links assembly from cowl plenum chamber. Make sure that pivot marked "L" is positioned to driver's side of vehicle.
9. On bench, remove motor from drive crank.
10. Perform needed service on motor, pivots, links and cranks.

INSTALLATION

1. Put assembly together after performing needed service.
2. Install wiper motor, mounting bracket, cranks, pivots and linkage into cowl plenum chamber.
3. Engage pivots through cowl top mounting holes and loosely install pivot shaft nuts and washers.
4. Install 3 bolts to motor mounting bracket.
5. Connect wiper motor wiring harness.
6. Install wiper motor plastic cover and attach washer hose clip.
7. Close hood.
8. Tighten tie down nuts on left and right pivot shafts.
9. Install and adjust wiper arm assemblies.
