Ride Height Sensor: Description and Operation

The height sensor is attached to the rear frame rail with a connector link attached to the rear axle. If the vehicles ride height is changed by adding or subtracting weight to the vehicle, the height sensor will ground the compressor relay or the exhaust valve solenoid accordingly.
