Owner Notification and Service Scheduling
All involved car owners known to Chrysler are being notified of the service requirement by first class mail. The owner is requested to apply a supplied VECI correction label over the left side of the original incorrect label. Any owner who prefers not to install the label is asked to schedule an appointment for the service with a dealer. A copy of the owner notification letter is attached.Enclosed with each owner notification is an Owner Recall Notification Form #83-295-0019. The involved vehicle and recall are identified on the form for owner or dealer reference as needed. If dealer service is requested, the owner is instructed to give the form and the supplied VECI correction and recall completion labels to the dealer when delivering the car for service.
